CELLnTEC primary human bladder epithelium progenitors are isolated in our specialized progenitor cell targeted culture medium CnT-58, ensuring maximum retention of the valuable colony forming progenitor cells and extended in vitro longevity. If desired, cells can be switched to CnT-18 (the fully defined PCT medium) without weaning.
The cells are provided as cryopreseved vials, frozen at the end of secondary culture. The protocol for cultivation and passaging of these cells is critical for successful culture. Passaging requires use of Neutral Protease (CnT-Protease) - a dispase like enzyme which provides much gentler cell detachment than trypsin or equivalent enzymes.
